Airport transfers
Melbourne Airport and Avalon transfers
Most flights into Melbourne land at Melbourne Airport in Tullamarine, about 25 km north-west of the city. The drive usually takes 25 to 40 minutes. In the evening peak the Tullamarine Freeway and CityLink can stretch that past an hour, which is exactly when a fixed price matters: the quote you booked is the price you pay.
Avalon Airport is a different trip altogether. It sits out past Werribee near Geelong, about 55 km from the CBD. Book it the same way and the quote simply covers the longer drive. We track your flight on every airport pickup, so a delay moves your chauffeur's arrival rather than leaving you waiting on the kerb.
Melbourne Airport (MEL)

Melbourne's big days book out early
Melbourne has a handful of days when cars across the city are spoken for. Melbourne Cup Day, the first Tuesday in November, is a public holiday in metropolitan Melbourne, and the roads around Flemington slow to a crawl. The Australian Open fills Melbourne Park through the second half of January, and the Grand Prix closes streets around Albert Park.
If your trip lands on one of those days, book as early as you can and give yourself extra time. Your chauffeur can wait while you wait out the crowd, and on hourly hire the car stays with you for the whole day.
Corporate travel
Airport runs from the CBD and Docklands, and back-to-back meetings along St Kilda Road and Southbank.
Weddings and events
Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula venues sit an hour or more out, so hourly hire keeps the car with your party.
Hourly hire
Book 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours with kilometres included, for roadshows, site visits or a night out in the city.
Groups of up to 12
The Sprinter takes a whole team to the MCEC, or a bridal party to the vineyard, in one vehicle.
Fleet and pricing
The same fleet and fixed prices as Sydney
Every vehicle class is available in Melbourne, from the Business Sedan to the 12-seat Sprinter. Fares work exactly as they do in Sydney: a fixed price from the real driving distance, confirmed before you book, with GST included.

Melbourne chauffeur questions
How long does it take to get from Melbourne Airport to the CBD?
Usually 25 to 40 minutes for the roughly 25 km trip. In the evening peak on the Tullamarine Freeway, allow closer to an hour. The price stays fixed either way.
Are CityLink and EastLink tolls included?
Yes. Tolls are included in the price you are quoted, so a trip on CityLink or EastLink costs exactly what you booked.
Can you pick up from Avalon Airport?
Yes. Enter Avalon Airport as your pickup and the quote covers the longer drive, about 55 km to the Melbourne CBD.
How far ahead should I book for Melbourne Cup Day?
As early as you can. It's a public holiday in metropolitan Melbourne and demand peaks around Flemington, so leave extra travel time on the day as well.
